In late 2023 Airrmade Ceramics opened up their own shop and studio in Annandale, Sydney.

Air’s own works are sold amongst her friends ceramics and artworks in the front of the shop, while she throws new clay pieces out the back.

She approached me to create the signage and brand for her newly leased shop, which would be a separate identity to her personal ceramics brand. Starting from scratch, with the only constraint being to keep her yellow door, everything was developed around this.

The project began with brand development in logo design, colour scheme, a suite of illustrations and collateral. Air wanted her shop to feel refined yet inviting and welcoming. We painted the building a deep warm khaki paired with butter yellow lettering and yellow gingham curtains. Signage on the building was painted by hand and a small blurb about the shop installed with vinyl as the final step.
